Montecito processors (bi-core) 1.5 GHz, 3 GB or 8 GB of memory per processor (48 Gb for "normal" nodes or 128 Gb for "big memory" nodes). The nodes are connected with three Quadrics interconnection networks in parallel.
In November 2006, this Bull machine was the second bigest computer in Europe with a peak power of 52.84 teraflops (52,840 billion operations per second), and one of the most powerful in the world.
