Machine massively parallel (MPP) self with 192 DEC Alpha processors. Each processor has 16 or 32 million words of memory 64 bits. Data is exchanged between nodes through a network interconnection 3D toroidal topology.

It has a system input / output type Giga-Ring (double ring 600 Mb / s each) and a disc capacity of 450 GB (50-Fiber Channel disks).
