To be used, it must be connected to another CRAY, serving as a front. In this case, it is the CRAY YMP.

A node consists of:

- 2 Alpha (21064) DEC 150 MHz,
- 2x64 MB of memory (2x8Mmots)
- A network interface.

The nodes are interconnected through a 3D toroidal grid with a throughput of each link is 300 Mb / s.

Performance: 150 MFLOPS per processor, or 19.2 Gflops for 128 processors.

Operating system: UNICOS MAX. IEEE data format.
